This 6-week project run in two different locations will support women to learn English writing skills through the medium of food and cooking.
Each session, a small group of women ESOL learners will discover different wrapped foods from their cultures. We will read about them, cook them and write about these recipes and their stories from around the world.
The sessions will use cookery books, recipes, and English language teaching techniques to improve and develop your writing skills in an informal and relaxed environment.
The level for this project is Entry 2 and above, however all levels will be considered.
This is an intensive project and attendance for all 6 sessions is strongly recommended. Please do not book if you cannot attend at least 5 sessions.
The course is free, all materials and ingredients will be provided.
Unfortunately, we currently do not have facilities for childcare.
Please fill out the form below to register your interest, stating which location you would be able to attend (Northmoor or Levenshulme)
